Privacy policy
Updated: September 26, 2026
Shinsuke Kitano explains below how information is handled by Lumiaqua and its official website.
1. Aquarium data on your device
Fish names, growth, fullness, cleanliness, hearts, daily reward counts, language preferences and the last opening time are stored locally to provide the aquarium experience. The app does not send your fish names or aquarium save to an operator-managed cloud service. The device's country or region setting is used to choose the initial language; GPS permission is not requested.
2. Advertising
The app integrates Google AdMob. Its SDK may process IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and performance information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. An IP address may indicate an approximate location. Handling depends on your device settings and any required consent.
See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising information.
3. Your choices
On supported iOS devices, an ATT system prompt asks whether tracking across other companies' apps and websites is allowed. You may decline and continue using the aquarium. You can change tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Where required by Google's consent platform, ad consent choices are available under the app's Settings → Privacy policy. Declining tracking does not necessarily remove all advertisements.
4. Contact and website access
If you email support, your email address, message and any information you choose to attach are used to answer your request and resolve problems. Do not send passwords or payment details. Website hosting and email providers may process connection information such as IP addresses and timestamps to deliver and secure their services. No optional website analytics or advertising scripts have been added by the operator.
5. Retention and requests
Aquarium data remains on your device until removed by the app or device settings. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond and meet applicable obligations, then deleted or anonymized. You may ask about access, correction or deletion of information held by the operator through the contact page. Third-party providers handle their own data according to their policies.
6. Security and international processing
Reasonable measures are used to protect information. Advertising, hosting and email providers may process data in countries other than your own. Their safeguards and privacy practices are described in the relevant provider policies.
7. Updates and contact
This policy may be updated as the app changes. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or website. For privacy questions, contact Shinsuke Kitano.
